The story of Faith

If this story had been told to me by my mother,
perhaps i would have listened...
If it had been told to me by my fore fathers perhaps i would have heard,
but to hear it on my own,
 from my age groups chatter.
I none but fail to believe, yet, i live by it.
I suffer from the truths of the tale.
Have I learnt nothing yet?

To read is to learn
to learn is to live
one must believe in something
one must have faith in someone
a great being, perhaps a prophet, a god, God All mighty..
but to beleive one must learn to
learn from a teacher by whom truths of faith he liveth by
if she/he falls to the wayside, if he slides and lives in drunkardness of noise, abuse, power and disrespect
you, the subjects are sure to fall into doubt
questioning the faith that governs the teacher.
Learning nothing.

But the story of faith is not about the teacher
its about the believer
receiver of the word
the ground upon which the seed is sowed
the soul
your faith is yours and yours alone
Have you learnt nothing yet?

    1. i keep thinking that if truly we had learnt how to believe, to have faith then all the worries and depression would not exist. i worry at times and for this reason i wonder...have i learnt nothing?

  2. "why worry, when you can pray?" sure does take on a whole new meaning.
